It has been a great pleasure for me to try again the Sigma Sd Quattro, this time with a true macro lens, the Sigma 150mm f2.8 Macro OS. Thanks to the high reproduction ratio, I was able to make real close ups, with unusual composition and framing, to get something different not simply a document, but also abstract images from nature.

I'm a fan of macrophotography and during my life I think I have tried, either for work or for fun, nearly all macro lenses with Nikon mount; both original ones and those and from other manufacturers like Sigma, Tamron and Tokina, often in different versions.
For this reason I accepted with pleasure the offer to try the newest version of the  105mm f2.8 Macro Sigma, the one with OS (image stabilization).

Nikon V3 and 70-300VR riding high!

recipe ingredients:
- 1 V3
- 1 70-300
- 1 spot as Mondello beach, Palermo
- 1 support dinghy
 
Preparation time: less than one hour
Difficulty: for everyone
Mix in the JPG,  efficient V3 Nikon AF-C mode, AutoISO 100-800 in the automatic search of the subject, set the S mode at 1/2500 ", adjust Matrix in over and under exposure depending of the light angle, set the shutter to the sequence of 10 ftg / sec, adjust the 70-300  in VR Active position,boil just for 56 minutes under the August Mondello Beach' sun:
