the complete package with the usual Sigma accessories.

Already the box and the box - much larger than those of other Sigma Art - give an advance of what's contained.

if we want to criticize, the lens hood is not very practical, with those petals (are really needed for a focal lenght of this kind?) is not very stable when placed upside down.
Even the caps - both, front and back - as well for all new Sigma production, could be of better quality.

but it picked up in hand it give a solid feel, sturdy, how could give them a rock.
The huge focus ring, covers the entire palm of the left hand.

By the way, absolutely dont shoot holding the camera body with both hands.
You will have the confidence to make blurry pictures.
This kit should be kept well in hand, stretching out the left palm completely under the lens and firmly holding the camera grip with your right.

You will feel a bit like Dwayne Johnson when it prepares to absorb a direct punch to an opponent of his caliber but you can be sure of being able to take pictures that can completely enhance the tack sharp clarity that this lens can give you if you have the foresight to properly focus !

86mm, it keeps you safe from any temptation to purchase filters : too much expensive !

this new Sigma, along with Sigma Art 12-24/4 and Sigma Sport 500/4, are the first set of Sigma lenses to use the electromagnetic aperture even with the Nikon mount.
I do not think that will be a problem for anyone interested in, but pay attention to compatibility, only possible with cameras from Nikon D300 and D3 and later (not that with earlier you cannot shoot but you can only do always to F1.4).

imposing, bigger than the already big Nikon 105/1.4E who weighs a nice 1.000 grams !

as I said, in my opinion it's better use with larger and heaver cameras.
At least one D800 with battery-grip, or, better, a D4 / D5

in this way the center of gravity fall exactly at the center of your left palm.
