reaaly a minefield of a 120° lens
At this point I'm afraid to admit ... about my Lightroom statistics,  68% of the Sigma 12-24 shots till now done, were at 12mm and the second relevant percentage is an 8% at 20mm and then a 7% at 24mm: the latter more...looking for nonexistent focal further, rather than specifically choosing that angle of field .
If using the curvature of the horizon in a landscape, or look up prospective alignment of an interior, although complex, is however a manageable result, as soon as we instead have some people who do not are exactly at the center of the frame,

we can only distort, deform, cut, sacrifice a part of the frame, to the benefit of the real subject of our composition
